This dinosaur, a herbivore, lived in the Upper Cretaceous, 70 million years ago in Europe, France and Spain. With a wingspan of 15 to 18 m long and about 4 m high.
Extinct 70 million years ago, the Ampelosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur about 20 m long and 4 m high, weighing up to 15 tons. During its existence during the Upper Cretaceous, the region where it lived was characterized by a warm climate and diverse vegetation, which allowed it to feed on a wide variety of plants including ferns, cycads and conifers. Its long neck was an asset for reaching food at the top of trees.
