Le Misainier, a 22 cm boat made in France by Maison Tirot.

Handcrafted in solid beech wood from Breton forests, this boat is equipped with a cotton sail. Its shape is inspired by fishing boats of yesteryear with which our elders fished... A bath and beach toy for the little ones.

The Breton foremast boat was widespread in southern Brittany, mainly for fishing. Its hull, low on the water, blends admirably into the seascape, hugging the swell.

Recommendations for use:

Tirot boats are made by hand, in a Breton workshop, using the same know-how and the same gestures handed down from generation to generation since 1946. Robust, they will last for many years provided they are given the care they require. Indeed, wood is a living material that reacts to water. Despite all the care taken in the manufacture of these boats, prolonged contact with water may deteriorate. It is important to let your boat dry in the shade and away from excessive heat after each use. In particular, avoid drying a boat on a running radiator or in direct sunlight in summer.
