Build your own R2-D2, a 3D wooden model with movable legs, spring-powered movement, and a real LED projector. Small in size but big in personality, this highly detailed and colorized 3D wooden model captures the beloved droid’s unmistakable design.
R2-D2 by Ugears runs thanks to a spring-powered internal mechanism. Twist the disc hidden beneath the head to wind it up, set the droid in position, and press the Start/Stop lever to watch him roll forward-just like in the movies. Flip the switch on top to activate the battery-powered mini projector and display colorful Star Wars scenes. The interchangeable slides are stored in a special compartment inside the body and can be swapped out using the included tool. Whether standing tall or leaning into action, this clever little droid is always ready with a message from the stars.
Like all other Ugears models, this robot comes with step-by-step, full-color, easy-to-follow instructions and doesn't require any glue or special tools to be fully assembled into a functional, working model.
