Zoological Bingo by Buffon, created by Vilac in collaboration with the National Museum of Natural History.

Georges-Louis Leclerc, Count of Buffon (1707-1788), directed the Royal Plant Garden for almost 50 years, from 1739 until his death. His Histoire naturelle, in 36 illustrated volumes, was a success as soon as it appeared.

The animal representations contained in the book have served as a source of inspiration for fine arts, fashion, decoration, educational works and children's books.

Buffon's Bingo is an illustrated bingo game, adorned with many species. The 96 animal figures present on the 24 cardboard cards that compose it were created by Nicolas Fleuri Jannin. The copy reproduced is kept at the National Museum of Natural History.

Contents: 24 cardboard cards, 90 wooden tokens, 200 cardboard tokens, an explanatory booklet of all the species presented and a cotton storage pouch.
