The Lilienthal 32 is of all-wood construction. The popular Lilienthal 31 trainer has been further refined, and now features a solid balsa wing built using the Jedelsky method. The model now requires no tissue covering or finishing with clear dope, and can therefore be completed more quickly. To seal the wood surfaces the model needs at least one coat of sanding sealer. The model flies extremely well, not least thanks to its low total surface area loading of around 12 g per dm². The Lilienthal 32 features an auto-rudder system which is activated when the towline disengages. All the wooden parts are accurately laser-cut, and are assembled with reference to the detailed and very comprehensive building instructions, which include many 3D drawings. Length: 74,5 cm. Wingspan: 119 cm.
The kit contains:
Building instructions with numerous 3D drawings, laser-cut balsa, obechi and plywood parts, machine-cut leading edges and spruce spars. The kit also includes glue, nose ballast, abrasive paper and decals.
Made in Germany.
